Die Casting for High-Volume Battery Terminal Manufacturing
Die casting is the preferred method for producing high volumes of battery terminals with repeatable precision and clean finish quality. It’s ideal for long-term supply programs, core product lines and automation-ready designs. Benefits of die-cast battery terminals include:
Fast turnaround on high-quantity orders
Dimensional consistency and surface detail
Optimized for integration into automated handling systems
Our die casting process supports demanding industrial and commercial lead-acid battery applications nationwide.
Spin Casting for Custom & Low-Volume Production
Spin-cast battery terminals offer the flexibility needed for shorter runs, larger part geometries and unique configurations. Using silicone molds, we can accommodate a wider range of design options with lower tooling costs and faster changeovers. Ideal use cases include:
- Custom or specialty battery terminal designs
- Oversized or non-standard parts
- Prototyping or transitional product runs
Spin casting makes it easy to get from concept to production without overcommitting on volume.
Resin Coating & Specialized Finishing Options
Centrifugal Castings offers an in-house resin coating process to support molded-in battery terminal applications. This specialized bonding and acid-resistant coating is applied to improve adhesion between the lead terminal and the plastic battery cover, help seal the acid ring and improve acid resistance. Our proprietary resin can be integrated directly into the production process, based on part requirements and end-use conditions.
